As always having a love for animals, Dr. Melanie knew from a young
age she was destined to help them her entire life. Growing up with
lizards, birds, cats and dogs led her on the path of becoming a
veterinarian. After graduating from St. Mary Catholic High School, she
studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Monroe County Community College.
She majored in Microbiology at Michigan State University where she
received her Doctorate in Veterinarian Medicine. Additional Masters’
degrees were obtained in Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Still passionate
about caring for friend’s and family’s pets, she has now established a
mobile vet clinic and is licensed in Michigan and Ohio. Quality care
and prompt professional service are her main attributes. Dr. Melanie
resides in Petersburg, Michigan with her husband Nick, three children,
Ayden, Ava and Augustus. Their extended family includes cattle,
chickens, ducks, guineas, rabbits, pigs, birds, goats, cats, and dogs.
